Nothing without spending some $$$ really. And by that time, it's smarter to get an AF16 motor or a complete elite. Sprees were never meant to go fast. Mine averages 33 via spreedometer and 31.6 GPS

It's just a fun loving cruiser. Hahaha. What are you looking to get out of it? Speed wise?

You may check with Taz to see what the end results of his complete kit is. I think it's about $235 though. Hills are always going to be a problem. I live where there are tons of hills as well. Which is why I went ahead and got an sa50.

Just attach the file below the text box. Most of the time, the images will be too big, in which case you will have to resize them. There are plenty of free resizers online. Many of the board members use imageshack.

Not bad. If/when you get a new one. Try to get an se50 or even better a 94-01 sa50. <has most mods that can be done cheap[er]

I'm considering getting rid of my spree. I have a good buddy who would really enjoy it and treat it right. It's really a niche bike. The elites (minus the sb50; in my opinion) are easy to tune and a bit more fun for commuting. Oh the joys of being in college.
