Well i just got a 2000 honda elite s doesnt run to bad plan on rebuilding it so far i have removed restrictor plate from variator couldnt find the washer to drill out on pipe not sure if its restricted or not. Made quite a bit of difference when plate was removed . Plan on getting a bigger jet for it and cutting out second tab on filter. Want to start small and then go bigger. Trying to get a little more top speed out of it whats a good place to start im thinkn rollers?
And if i bought the polilni 70cc bbk kit will i need a performance pipe or will i be able to modify the stock one.
The oil mixing unit doesnt work so ive been mixing gas does it hurt anything if its still on the engine and not being used.
GOT ALOT OF QUESTIONS HOPING YOU GUYS CAN HELP ME OUT THANKS

whats a good weight to run on rollers and will someone please show me a pic of where to drill on the muffler i cant find the washer to drill out. My main concern is the oil pump disconnected its on the bike still so should i put a little bit of oil in it to lubricate the gear

you have to take it off the scooter.

It is in the head of the pipe

You have to experiment with the rollers.

Lighter is better for revs...but too light wont let the scooter shift correctly to the top gear.

buy a multi pack and play around

i use rollers from polini 7.7 gram or mollasi 7.5 gram. and the pump needs to be removed and plugged with a plug from vtcycles or find a used one that works. i upjetted to #78 after all restrictions were removed.

Sounds like it is indeed inop. It will/may seize in the future and might damage the crank. You could pull it out and grind the gears off it so it doesn't mesh with the crank. Better yet get a $10 plug.
