Has any one successfully made a good
working pipe for a 125 are0? i just picked
up a set of pipes that i entend to convert.
From a yamaha banshee 350.

the pipes were cheep 20 bucks. only
one hr of ride time on them very easy
to find on c/l
why i thought this pipe would be a good
starting point was all the bends along with
having a mirror image to work with.
any input would nice

The only problem you will run into is that the banshee pipes are tuned to a way higher rpm from the factory then what the aero motor. We are talking about a good 3000+ more. Unless the flow of the aero motor is increased and ports enlarged and duration up'd,the banshee pipes will be to much. If you look at the intake differences between the 2,then you will see why. A 85cc pipe will be more likely to work better or even a 65cc one. Its not about what cc the pipe is from,it how much the motor flows is what you have to look at. A 65cc dirt bike motor will make the same if not more hp than a aero 125.
