First ride of the season.

The 60┬░ weather today inspired me to pull the cover off the Aero 80 and fire it up for a ride. Did a little over 80 miles just cruising around aimlessly. Had a great time. Of course the rain returns tomorrow.

Of course. I chickened out on a possible ride to work today, not knowing the weather when I got off work at 1am. I will go for a ride tomorrow just to shake the dust off.

At least 3 different times I pulled all my batteries and brought them in to hook up to my tenders. Each time the "cold snap" only lasted over-night. I rode all winter without even needing much more than a jacket.
Somebody forgot to flip the winter switch down here in hot'lanta this year.
I'm loving it now but I'm gonna need a face shield this summer to ward off all the mosquitos.

The pain issues, except for my knees , hands and wrist are well under control at this time. The knees don't care about the riding, the right hand gets tired so I just stop and take a 10 minute break when that happens, only one break yesterday.

Glad you got to ride Bear.

Hope I can soon, we've been having great weather here in STL and I'm busting my butt to get mine going. Enjoy your nice weather!

The weather already turned to crap early this AM. Rain thru Sunday night, then snow/rain for Sunday night and Monday AM then more rain thru at least next Thursday. This is why you ride when you get the chance.

Had a beautiful chance to ride Wednesday, but the darn doc`s appointment took some wind out of my sails.
We had 43 mile an hour gusts, with a 20 mph average. I saw one of my hens lay the same egg three times!
Better days a comin`......

Sorry to hear that - ya gotta figger it's gonna happen maybe once a year so this means you've already gotten it over with for 2012

First ride of the MiniMotard season today...I stayed out for 3 hours...we had 2 newcomers which made for some competition...the newbies were on 110cc and 88cc bikes... the gyro would lose just a little on the straights, then pull back up in the ess's...New tires on the rear, size 15x6.00x6 Carlisle rib-tread 4-plys...last year I was running Kenda, same size, but 2-ply...these 4-plys finally started feeling good when I dropped the psi to 13....maybe could have dropped a couple more, but I'll have a better benchmark for next week....the right rear was clearly scrubbing off more tread than the left....still trying to understand why...think maybe the layout was tighter in all the right turns.....
