Its getting spark, carbs clean as a whistle and getting gas, by starters got good res and works properly, exhaust is good, air cleaner is good.
I'm stuck it just turns over forever. I really have no idea what to even check next.

I did the compression test by holding the throttle open and trying to start it.

I thought 100 was low? My 84 Aero 80, way different though, is at least 142 - 200.

The manual says 114 to 171 PSI. so you are low.
However I think it should run at 100 PSI. Have you tried priming the engine with a shot of gas mixed with oil at a ratio of 31 to 1?

compression was right around 114
Haven't tried priming it, can you explain how to do it?

Take out the spark plug
squirt a little premix in the hole
put the plug back in
try to start it.

Is there oil in your crankcase, or an abundant amount on top of your piston?

ok so I sprayed some starter fluid in the air intake on the carb and when I choked it with my hand it started right up.
It won't stay running though unless I keep chokin it, so it looks like it IS the by starter?

Change the spark plug with a new one.
FYI, you can squirt the priming fuel into the carb or even into the air box inlet.
If the new plug and priming do not work, check the ignition timing.
