Post by SuprasNsprees »

Spree with taz 48mm kit. Got 2 tanks of 32:1 on top of the oil pump

Most important question first. What head are you using? (uncut or cut one to the diameter of the bore) no matter what oil ratio you run.if your running to high a compression.that's not going to stop is from running hot, seize or blow a hole in the piston.
Nothing like getting stroked!

It's shaved 0.015" and opened up to match the piston

Pretty hard apparently. We figured that shortly after the pic was taken

Didn't have a choice. We tried to keep it as clean-looking as possible. People really seem to dig it. Besides, it's not like these bikes are rare.

The kit has TONS more power down low. Before the pulley mod it still only did 32mph on flat ground, which was kind of disappointing. Shaved 0.100" off the pulley and it now does 37mph UPHILL.
It def feels like it needs a pipe. Seems like it runs out of breath up top. Overall it's faster, but not $300 faster

if you have a spare pipe you may want to open it up and take out the baffles and put a 1/2 in id pipe for the tip
and see what happens???
