Does any one know if the 1984 Gyro cylinders are interchangable with the 1985 and 1986
Gyro Cylinders? Thanks, Kev

While not identical in port timing, 84 can interchange with 85/86.

You can see the differences here.

mousewheels,
can you please point me to the thread where you posted photos of the aero cylinders with gyro cylinders? im trying to find an alternative. A friend has a gyro that needs cylinder, do you have any advice on this matter? I figure some modification will be required, im hoping to modify an aero jug and get this thing running again.

thanks

Link to comparison of Spree/Aero/Gyro cyls

There is interference between the Aero exhaust port and the Gyro case. The Aero cyl also points the exhaust over to the case wall by the stator side. Some creativity and talent might pull off a mod. Post pics if you have ideas or get to work on this!
