Hi everyone:
Getting my 2000 elite sr in order. Put a new carb on in the fall and have already replaced bent throttle needle. Wondering if anyone has advice about my high idle. It's insanely high. I have to kill it after a few seconds. Idle screw does nothing so I'm guessing my problem is the throttle needle, but not sure.

lol Yeah, again, make sure the long open slit on the valve is facing away from you.

Thanks everyone. I'll report back after trial and error.

Throttle cable was incorrectly installed. Idle still high but not ridiculously high. Ran for a couple minutes then when I hit brake she stalled and didn't want to start back up. Thanks again. Will keep fiddling.
