aero backfires

ok well i installed my bore kit on there with ALOT of problems. and i mean alot. bolt holes wouldnet match, finally i got them perfectly there anit it bolted on. well first the aero wouldent start then when it did start the engine ran for 10 seconds then backfired and died... why would it do that! need help!

Just a thought, if you got the same kit is me, it doesnt dound like it, but did you make sure the piston went in the right way? my kit had one side of the piston with ports, so it was important to install right, if not, I would say upjet, what size jet are you running now?

well im running an 80 and i made the arrow go to t he exaust port...

uhh yea. i do. and it was the elite s carb has a oil inlet on the carb insted of on the intake. well i had it on the intake and left the oil one empty... so i jsut oil to the carb and closed the other oil intake.
