Ok so the gold ring with the Kellie variator kit is it a mandatory thing to use my 01elite sr was bare stock and didn't 
have any part like it also my old variator didn't even have the screws to go in it so should I leave it off or go buy 3 screws tomorrow ....any advice is greatly appreciated since this is the last step for my first performance part
