DIO question

I asked this question on another post regarding this matter, and did not get an answer. I am wondering if my 87 Elite SE50 has the DIO motor.
And are the parts available at scooter assasins for the DIO going to fit if it is?
Oh, and please don't laugh at me, I am new to the whole scooter thing.

as stated above, and i believe i opsted in your other thread. the "dio"motors are the motors on the honda elite "s" which was made from 1994-2001. the 1987 elite (se50), and the 1989 elite "e" (sb50), do not have dio motors.
however, if you can get ahold of a dio motor, its an easy conversion for you 87. unlike the spree and the 89 elite, you dont have to do any modification to the shock mount, and you dont really, have to, change the motor mount, just modify it slightly.

yea... i liek how the elite looks. it nive and big, unlike the aero. and i want to make my elite taller.... any way to do that?

no a 87 is not a dio but close. u can get somethings for the se i have one that is moded.
