When you purchase a new piston ring set and both rings look the same but one
has a green dot on it, how do you know which one is the 1st ring and which
one is the 2nd ring? There is no other ID on them. Thanks, Kev

the bottom ring is slightly thicker than the top ring

Green Dot = top ring.
