Hey guys,
My Keihin pwk runs these smaller (shorter) style 'slot style'/unscrew with a flat head type main jets and I'm wondering if running the larger (taller) hex style main jets are ok to run. Will they hit or interfere with the float bowl? Is this just a matter of running a different imulsion tube or what?

Height difference appears to be 8mm slot type vs. 16.5mm hex type

So here is what I found out according to this PDF file:

If your carb (according to this dudes crazy research) came stock with the small "reverse/slotted" style mains, you cannot sub with any other jet type. But on the flip side, if your carb came stock with a hex type you can sub with other jet styles but you may need to modify the neeedle jet body to make everything work correctly
