IMO If you expand the target market to include say...
several generic chinese frames, you'd have a winner.
Maybe fabricate an add on to bolt to several different frame sizes/widths?
Just a thought... :)

Not too many dio frame moped/scoots out there; so it's a limited target market.
You'd do better switching that target market to the ruckus crowd. :thumbwink:

btw Awesome idea! :geekdance:

How hard is the wiring? Are you going to be selling the subframe?

Use the good ole gravity bleed. Open up the reservoir cap and then open your bleeder. If it doesnt bleed still there is a kink or an obstruction. Blow some compressed air thru the master line if you think its blocked. It probably wont unblock it but it will let you know its clogged.
How much are you thinking the sub frame will be? I have an extra 88 elite and 2 gy6 150s here. One has a 196cc jug on it even. Worse thing is no kick starters on them and cdi is ran off of battery too, so if you have a weak battery youre screwed.
Keep us up to date on the pricing.

Well I like to ride my GY6 powered Elite more than either of my 2 stroke Elites. More usable off the line torque... better mileage and no pre mixing.
A friend like driving it so much we are putting a GY6 in his Zuma this weekend.

If you start making these I would be very interested!!!
Anyone ever do a bigger front wheel conversion to make it look more even?

I agree they are a blast to ride with the stock GY6 150. We just GPS'd a Zuma we put a GY6 into and it went 57 mph with a stock motor, cheap stock replacement pipe (quiet) and a open style air filter.
The guy loves it!!
We also put one into a Elite with similar results... neither guy wants to go back to the 2 strokes they replaced.

Your going to have a hard sell on this forum because they are pretty diehard 2 stroke fans.. but to each his own.
