So I got a wom wom woom woom wooom wooom woooom woooom vibration going on anywhere above 40mph. Replaced belt and rollers as advised, no change. I have noticed that if I am crusin at 40 and roll into the gas it goes away untill my speed catches up to the throttle then it comes back. Regardless of what speed im at if I chop/cut the throttle the vibration stops.
Vibration is scary above 55mph
Engine mounts or bushings? any other suggestions
I do have a small amount of crank bearing noise, not yet to a growl...

Greetings:
Inherent to belt-driven machines. As long as nothing explodes, ignore it. If something does grenade, investigate.

Has just started doing this vibration within the last 50 miles, I used to top out at 60mph, smooth as butter and feel safe doing it, not so much now
The only thing I could find was slop in the motor bushings, they are really bad...
I pushed them out by hand with a socket extension and the outer part of the bushing stayed in the engine case. I am assuming these are pressed in at the factory and should not just push out lol
Ordering new rubber bushings tommorow, if that dont fix it I guess I will just have to buy another elite for parts to swap over

Did not support the block correctly and broke the engine bushing tab off
Need a right side engine block

Could have someone tig it back on but would I trust it at 60mph...

Tore the motor apart yesterday to swap cases and found drive side crank bearing has slop and all three bearings/seals the in the final drive also need to be replaced. Looking at a total cost of $250+ to fix so I am buying another 2001 sa50p with 450 original miles on it

for $500, no title thou
Dont know yet if Im just going to swap in my gears and be happy with a 40mph quiet stock machine or cut the cases and put all my goodies on this one.
Either way I will have a lot of leftover parts to sell including a gauge that reads 458 miles and if i leave it stock I will have a pg long, malossi 70cc , ct intake and 28mm oko carb to get rid of...

I would just get the kymco and roll that, it rides like a cadillac over 60. 12" wheels help alot.
