Air flow
Just a question, maybe someone knows the answer
Is the pilot size on the se50 carburator the same as the 94-01 sa50 carb? basically does both carbs flow the same amount of air? one of my se50 carbs has a blocked pilot and I stripped one of the bolt threads hahahha piece of junk. anyways I swapped a spare 94 sa50 carb onto it and it runs and idles well. I swapped the 82 main, the emulsion tube, and the throttle needle/slide so if the air and fuel flow is the same in essence I have an upgraded se50 carb right?

Re: Air flow
Moving all the parts over - needle/emulsion tube and slide sounds good. 94'up carbs have a captive steel nut - harder to strip. Both carbs have a #35 pilot. In the thread looks good, how's it working for you?
Re: Air flow
so far so good, i gotta find an air box lid and an air filter before i can drive it far, running a pod filter just to test up and down the driveway.
