Boring Spree

If I bore a spree, what esle do I have to do to it. Do if have to jet it , reeds, stuff like that ? thanks Mike

im in the process of boring mine .025 over. Whats needed for this is rings piston and boring it which also takes money. As far as jetting goes...i havent got that far yet.

Its hard to bore those tiny cylinders or "jugs" as some call it. I have a preformance shop do myne and it warped when they did it.

Ya, your not gonna notice a difference. And you shouldnt need to re-jet after that minor of a change.

im not looking to make tons of power, my jug was hit bad so rather then buyin a another used jug and piston i just bored mine over and put in the piston and rings. may as well go new instead of used...why take chances?

Thats what situation Im in now. I just dont know where to get a bigger piston. I live in Minnesota, anyone have any suggestions ?

.025 or .050 is the bore sizes that honda sells pistons and rings for.

Honda should be selling OS pistons to match the OS rings... they have to match.

Only shop that would touch it wanted $80. I'll wait until I pick up a completely fried engine to try it out. If I want a project, I've got an '87 SE50 engine to swap into one of them.

You're right, technically two of them. Matt, I think yours is just a parts block at this point.
