Hello, i am new to working on sprees and to this forum. I mainly deal with honda express but it looks like the same type of creature. Got an 84 NQ50 and was wondering if there is a gasket that is needed for the cover of the drive belt (left side). Kinda want to find one before i go tearing it apart if i do need one. I know the express did and it was a pain to find them

They are no longer available. I'm guessing most people run without or they use a gasket liquid and hope for the best.

Anyone know, right off the top of your head, what the gasket original thickness is? I may make my own (i have had to do that alot on express's)
