i installed polini bore kit on elite and wondering if u have to use exhaust gasket that kit came with? it runs fine so far without it

Are you even using a exhaust gasket?

I would use it as most shops in my area use a larger diameter gasket which leaves blowby

You can get This FelPro Set for VW Beetle (pick a year like 1970) from O'Reilly's for about $15. The Polini flange may or may not be a good fit for the stock pipe. Neither the Polini nor the stock Honda gaskets may seal the joint. The VW kit has a couple of copper and steel rings that can make it work. The paper flange gaskets (4 in the set) add more leak insurance. See Flash 5 - Nary a leak with Felpro stuff on mine. Best of all, you have enough stuff to seal it at least twice with new gaskets. Maybe as many times as 8. Pretty cheap. YMMV.

I just buy the single VW Beetle exhaust gaskets for my 50mm Ruima jug. They're only $2 each.
