Greetings:
Basically you loosely assemble the case halves with no crank. Mark the cylinder base mating surface using the gasket for the cylinder you've got, and split the cases again. Then hack away the unwanted case material. Flash 4 was done with a hacksaw - no kidding, for a change! - with good results as shown
here.

Wake up wheelman, he is talking about the intake below the reeds, but if you cut the piston skirts 1/8 on the contessa it turns into a corsa + rings= cheat polini

I'm awake. The request was about porting "my boost...", not the reed port. That was a nice job King.

That was one of the first few blocks i did. Its really hard to port a sym block i tell yah what. The metal quality makes it hard to get it smooth. Also the owner of this block wanted rounder port walls and port openings. I told him squared of was better but he wanted it round like that lol. I also took a case of beer for this port job and engine assembly so halfway thru the job i was already a drunkard

Greetings:
Honda quality is reflected in subtle things like the quality of the casting. That grainy Sym cast alumiinum does look challenging. It suggests low casting pressures and/or inferior metal in the pour. You can polish Honda stuff and the Italian aftermarket stuff. The stuff from Asia seems just to get scratched up and grainy. This illustrates WHY Honda parts are comparatively so durable. I shudder to think what the older Chinese scooter "Metal" looks like up close.

My bike is tuned perfect and whoever your claiming to have talked to is full of it cause my bike is the fastest 72cc in kona hands down. Its a sym block kinda hard to make crappy metal come out like a elite block. Go run your mouth in fh cause im not making any personal attacks towards you. You think your gonna try talk crap to someone who has done thier research and come out on top then your way off da horse. Here try reading this if you can follow

That case porting looks great, nothing wrong with it. Nice work there king. Thecase is roughed up properley to keep the fuel atomized, too many people make a mirror on surfaces in the intake system, and that takes away efficiency meaning less bang for your buck.

Its supposed to be more smooth then that but the sym metal wouldnt do it no matter what bit or grit i used. As of now i refuse to do port work on anything other than honda engines. The metal is harder so doing the boost takes more work but the quality you cant beat. I would post pics of those cases but the owners refuse to let me show the work. My port jobs are no where close to the work some members are capable of but they definately are no hack job. Im proud of this sym case. I usually square the walls off more but the owner insisted on rounded ports
