So I've decided to blow some money on my newly acquired sa50p 00'
The parts that I am going to order are:
72cc polini corsa bbk - daywot $295 (is this a good price? cant seem to find others selling)
Kelli variator - daywot $40
28mm oko carb with dual reed intake manifold, reeds, throttle cable, filter - daywot $199
PG long pipe - vtcycles (no idea how much that is gonna cost, gotta call for price on that one)
2k center spring - vtcycles $15
Japanese taillights - daywot $40 (the smoked one :D)

What size rollers should I run? I weigh about 140 pounds. I was thinking 7g? And as for gears I was thinking 7-1? And is the dual reed intake manifold that daywot is selling the same as CT manifold? (Nooby question sorry) Heres the link to it http://www.ebay.com/itm/OKO-28mm-CARBUR ... 0662590619.
Any suggestions would be great.

Greetings:

Patrick of DayWOT is a reliable vendor and ships quickly. Unfortunately someone needs to tell him his prices are high.
To find a cheaper Corsa, you must find a European shop willing and able to ship to the U S and A.
Another option, possibly faster and certainly cheaper is the Malossi MHR sold on this Forum by RedEftPerformance. The Kel vario isn't a bad deal for the money, but you still need a better ramp plate - 25 degrees or so. So add another $15 for that. There are better variators for the Corsa out there, such as RedEft's or mine, for example in the WTB section.

The CT mani is $~30 at TreatLand.TV. They sell any size OKO carb you wish for $70. Frankly I feel the 28 is too big for the Corsa. The 26mm OKO got mine to 71+MPH and was a LOT easier to tune. Others report good speeds with 24 and even 21mm. Anyway that's ~$100, and Treats has an 18% off sale going on right now, so Figure closer to $80. They may have an OKO cable, maybe not. VT can sell you one for around $15. UNI website will sell you the filter for ~$20, shipped. Get the 2" angled one for an OKO carb. So that's about $115 for maybe two or three packages instead of one. You can spend how and where you wish, but I think $85 is a lot to pay for that convenience.

The PG Long was $~160 shipped last time I bought one, so figure $180 now. Consider the cheaper, slightly quieter and just-as-fast-as-far-as-I'm-concerned PG Short for closer to $150. Nothin' wrong ewith spending money, but the real performance comes with spending time on the fine-tuning. The 2K spring is overkill and has been known to crack rear pulleys, even Honda's. A 1.2 or 1.5 may be a better choice. Nobody but NOBODY can guess how heavy your rollers need to be until you screw the beast together, break it in and do some careful testing and RECORDING your results with a Tach, CHT gauge and GPS. Roller weight changes as little as 2 or 3 grams TOTAL (like 0.5g per roller) can make a BIG difference. That part takes weeks unless you have a whole day to ride-and-wrench.

Hope this helps, spend wisely.

Treatland is also a good place. If your looking for a mean top end then go with the gears downsouth dio is running 7.5:1 dont go any lower it will strain your engine.

I would use 9to1's with that set up. They hit hard.

Also I like the 21mm and 24mm carb set up. They a crisper throttle response compared to the 28mm. That is my opinion of course.
