polini 72 mini stroker help

hey guys need your help im going crazy
heres my set up
elite
mini stroker
72 polini
two and a half base gasket
compression test shows 140psi

vari 42 grams
zx trans
1500 clutch spring
2000 center spring
7:1 gearing

oko 28mm
142 jet
52 pilot

it runs great until i hit 60 mph the bike just want's to not go anymore like there is a speed limiter or a fuel cut off switch on cars or boost cut for cars..
temps stays around 230-260 cruising and at wot 350 temp.. i tried goin up and down on weights and jets tried 138-155 same thing..i want it to hit atleast 70 mph if thats posible. rode my friends bike and it doesnt cutt off like mines... thanks

What ya mean 2 and a half gaskets? .. I had 2 head gaskets( metal) and compression was around 125 ..which is safer on pump gas..should get a little hotter than 260 i think.. And for your weights just gota play with them

Which pipe are you using? Try a stock clutch

Using 2paper base gasket and a thin metal one..using pg long

Polini contesta is doing good to go 60. The trouble may be with the port timing with your ministroker setup. I tried that crank and unless you really know what you're doing AND measure with a degree wheel what you have, you can kill the Genius-Italian porting that Signore Polini worked so hard to perfect.

Polini contesta is doing good to go 60. The trouble may be with the port timing with your ministroker setup. wheelman thats what i was afraid of the port timing because i tried everthing swapping parts from my friends bike. im looking around for a good tutorial how to use degree wheel i already printed one off the net..thanks

to much gearing

was running 8.1 prior i thought i was topping it out so i went 7.1

if your running a corsa with a mini stroke. right there is your issue plus to much gearing. a corsa already has a high duration with a stock stroke crank. running it with a mini stroke crank puts it through the roof. the result you got is exacty what it does when running that combo. so when guys say that setup is hamma. they are full of it. if you want the full potential of that bore. run a stock stroke crank with it and dont over gear it. if not your just straining the motor

ok today i swapped the my friends ruima 86cc this thing is action it wants to wheelie everthing runs great untill i hit 60mph again i starting to think its my carb this is the only part i didnt swap out yet.. ill let u guys know..!

So thats a contesta not a corsa? I ran the metal gasket that came with the polini kit then 2 metal head gaskets..wht baka is saying is true.. Its meant for a stock stroke.. And over gearing just strains it.. My top speed was 69mph .. Noticed a big difference in torque with the ministroke crank though and the scorpion pipe compared to stock stroke and a pg long corsa

My trans setup is just the ruima gearing (7:5) and sef ramp plate..gates powerlink belt.. Stock variator and stock clutch

update my problem was my carb. something was * up under the two phillips screw thet i couldnt get ou, inside the bowl... now my set up is HAMMAH!!! CHEEE!!

what speeds you hitting? thinking of putting on mini stroke with my corsa
