How much is too much compression?

Hey everyone 
Ive finally got my over sized Taz piston into my little gyro. I haven't got a chance to run it yet but when I spin it over with the starter Ive got over 150 psi as compared to the original 120. Is this going to be to much compression? I already use No.1 gas as everything else here as a percentage of (what they call) ethanol in it.. Im pretty sure ethanol burns... this stuff doesnt...Id appreciate any info
