do i have a little wiggle room here? if i say find a good deal on a 28mm carb can i make it work with this 26mm intake?

i mean if its just rubber connecting shouldn't any carb work if you have the right tube?

that intake will bolt on top of the reed cage no need for a adapter plate

yes. you can even put a 19mm if you want.
