Allrighty... I'm really glad I didn't go with 2 grams heavier than stock like Dr pulley says. I have kind of a dead spot at about 15 mph where the variator is shifting up a little too quick. It could also be that variator itself needing a little more attention as well where the slider pockets are not as shiny as they could be and maybe I could polish the ramp plate some. Buy they do perform very well otherwise, the top end is way more consistent than it was. So I'm really happy with them overall. When I have some more time I will tune up the variator some more and see what happens.

Gee PTSG, when I bought Dr.Pulley's sliders, the recommendation was absolutely REDUCE by 1 gram each. Seems odd that you would be finding info that recommends the opposite. What's up with that ?

I had read two different weights on the stock rollers 6.5 and 6 grams. So I ordered 6 grams I figured I could just drill out a little weight from each slider if I ran in to the trouble I'm having. Which is not really trouble its a slight bog at 15mph and das it. Works perfect all around except the little bog. So I'll drill the holes 1 drill bit bigger weigh them and hope for the best. And if I muck them up which I doubt i will but if I do I'll order the 15 gram sliders and pout for about 30 sec install them and be done wit it. Its all good I don't mind calling it experimentation... yeah its not a screw up its an experiment
Just drove to the gig on the aero, about 19 miles or so. it works awesome, the bog is so not noticeable and the benefits of the Dr pulleys out weigh my erring on the side of caution when i ordered them at the same weight as the stock rollers. Its way more street able for the riding I want to do with it now. The speeds are way more consistent and I'm able to maintain the full 42 43mph (70 kph) top end now on the flats with out issue. Stock form my aero 80 was kinda pinned to hold 35mph or a bit above, now it will cruise at 35 with a little more than the slack out if the throttle cable
Thanks motormike, the only bummer with having the heavier slider is it shifts up too fast to pull wheelies like it did
, but that's not a bad thing really. I probably should not be pulling wheelies anyway
