I took a donor bike that the owner didn't want and decided to transform it from an 80s scooter into a 60s (my era) scooter to a certain extent.

Looks good! I like the round headlight, shaved signals, rack, head tube plastic and reflectors. Battery removed and pipe, what are we missing?

There ya go. just compare pictures. Painted silver fenders rather than chrome. Curved high rise bars rather than squared off. The 80s were all about rectangles and hard edges. The 60s were rounded and paint and no signals. I put on the smallest signal I could find. Even left them off the front for now. The foot pegs still bother me, but those will have to wait. Battery is retained, but mounted inside where the oil tank was. Fits perfectly. If I had a fat wallet I would have had the muffler chrome plated, but since the shape is already too radical, I thought I'd just leave it be.

As a side note, the rear fender is not authentic, just a generic fender cut and attached with screws into the frame in the rear. It is very difficult to find rear fenders for the Nu50 for some reason. But, after using this one, I liked the looks and when I finally found an authentic rear fender, I decided to leave well enough alone.
The last thing I may do is replace the rear cargo style rack with one that's been trimmed down to minimum. We'll see.
BTW, here's the left side showing the intake, etc. The side cover shown is a tuning cover to allow me to fine tune things. Then I'll replace with a full cover.
