Early last october i was out on my express and the temps started spiking real fast and before i could pull over it was too late it croaked. I just pulled the cylinder now and this is what I found ;-) Image

Was there any oil in the bike and is it premix or injected hope you get it fix to enjoy the rest of the summer enjoying my 84 spree great summer here in Newfoundland Canada .

Yeah that is a low oil issue for sure.

Nice close up detailed pic.

Thanks Jamz. I kinda thought it was a low oil issue. Thats what I get for using oil ment for high summer temps in October. Lots of oil in the mix it just went gummy. I'm sticking to the good oil that has been working amazing for years in all my two strokes. Its injection oil but it works wicked in premix. I got that express running on a .025 oversize cylinder that I had that was already broke in that I had ported to perfection last year just last night. So far it it rips as hard with the MLM pipe as the big bore kit that got scuffed up. I have a new piston to to replace that toast one in the pic but for now I'm sticking to stock bore even though the big bore kit cylinder is in great shape expect for the aluminum stuck to it ;-)
