hey everyone new on here I just got a 85 Honda spree all stock only go 30mph what can I do or buy that's easy to do too it ? if you have or know anything that can help let me know thanks ?? need faster lol

theses are your options...you can buy the taz bbk or u can do a motor swap...there's not much out there for the spree motor

ok whats this taz bbk find It on ebay or something ? and motor swap what will bolt up that's good ? ive been reading other post but have no idea whats compatible with my 85 spree

My Pops did the BBK and he gets to about 32 MPH instead to 30. And his MPG is cut in half!! IMO I really don't think the BBK is the best choice for a spree upgrade. I did read here about a aftermarket spree pipe that will help with the top end.

don't know if you can use them with a stock motor

The bbk will not add top end period. The upgrade path really needs to be the whole shebang to get more top end. You need the taller gears for more speed, but.. with out the bbk you won't have enough torque to push them. To get the most out of the bbk you really should have the 21mm carb with the intake to go with it. The pipe helps top end some. The bbk only adds torque not top end. The bbk eats hills B-)
Taz sells what he calls a stage 3 kit, it has the bbk, gears, carb, intake and spree adapter plate. That's what you want. Unless you decide to swap in a faster motor

for the price you pay for the stage 3 kit you could swap in a stock variated AF05E from the se50 with little effort .It will have 3 times the take off power,more top speed and be way better on fuel.Then if you wanted you could big bore,carb,pipe,gears and then you will be really flying
