Has any one ever thought of putting the malossi small shaft crank in a SE05 motor? I realise case machineing would be needed but this needs to be done to a dio to go full stroker. Also the 12mm vs 10mm piston pin but i found a shop here that sells a roller bearing for scooters that has a 12mm outer and a 10mm inner .Now im useless with math so what would the cc come to with the malossi full circle stock dio stroke and the malossi 47mm kit.Does it then make it a 72cc?

Reason i ask i have the motor in my sig and a se05 motor on another spree that i think is tapped out in terms of power and im happy with my dio motor .Thought id try to pull a little more power from the af05e and do a dio gear swap and put in some 9:1

Thoughts ? Opinions?

I was actually thinking about this the other night. I'm not sure what the hang up would be. It would come out to 72cc

standard af05e bearings and seal are perfect .I think it would make one mean SE/05 motor . I realise dios are quicker but ive done that and im not wasting my time on a spree motor .Just got to sell a couple more bikes to get some cash together

after traffics post i measure the width of the crank and the case and dam i the case wouldnt allow for that much machineing it would leave 0.25 thick walls which aint good enough .Oh well scrap that idea then just trying to think outside the box
