Here is a dio motor I'm looking at picking up, thanks to another board member that gave me the link :-) all thoughts and comment are appreciated :-)

Its missing the stator/flywheel, fan and cover along with the cylinder shroud. The stator is easy to find, but I'm not sure about the some of the other parts. Anybody have any ideas? Are some of those parts available from other motor models?

OEM fans can still be found on E bay; sometimes these run close in price to the aftermarket fans so take a look and decide which way is best for you. They cylinder shroud is a bit more tough to come by but it still should be available. Looks like it's already got an aftermarket intake & larger carb; along with a bbk. Overall looks to be a decent deal, especially if it works. :)

If the shipping isn't too bad, the carb and intake are worth $100 on their own :-) I need to get going on shipping quotes so I can get that bad boy :-)

You guys rock, I may look into the stock pipe for getting it running. Or I may just drop some cash on a real pipe. I gotta get it first ;-)
What do you guys think that motor with the wheel on will weigh? So I can figure out shipping. The dimensions should be close to a spree motor I'm guessing?

nice looking fine ...it has a after market carb and manifold so you may have a bbk on it so when you get it you may want to mike the piston... as for the pipe some are made for (i think ) 70 cc and under and some are for over 70 cc ... you may want to by the pipe that you need for the bbk your going to put on the motor ... but fist you need to have it in hand...

Is it my imagination or does that look like an extended motor mount?

I have 2 stock sa50p carbs and intake manifolds I have been trying to get rid of. And a right side motor cover... but it has been modified to fit a BBK.

I was going to ask about that mount, but forgot about it. Im glad you guys picked up on that. Even if the motor turns out to be a dud the carb and intake are worth new for what im paying for the whole thing shipped. Im gonna need a right side cover for sure, ill have a nice list to post of all the parts i need when it arrives.

Its going to be a spree swap, there is a large possibility I'm getting a second spree. I want it to go to light speed ;-) so not stock. I want Scary fast :-) Pauly has inspired me with tales of going faster than most only dream about ;-)
