i finally broke down and cleaned the carb the proper way in the middle of nowhere (I was 30 miles from home!).
that got me up to about 20 mph, but if i turned throttle further to go caster, it would just die out. carb settings are all proper.
So anywho, 3 minutes after I get it finalyl running, and on my way home, I pick up not 1, but !2! NAIlS!, one in front one in rear tire!
ARG DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a hand pump with me, so i filled up both tires. each fill up was good for about 5 miles, so I had to fill it up 6 times.
I am so disgusted, I just took my bike to Sportland 2, have them put on new tires (their 11 years old anyways). And having them fix the bogging issue. I know it's going to cost me, but trying ti fix it myself when I dont know where to begin will cost me more in the long run, especially in gas as my only other vehicle is my Xterra, that gets 15mpg.
I'm looking at about $100 for both tires, the tubes, and labor, and then another $100 to fix my bogging and dieing issue. Man, i just want my bike to run
