Greetings:

Welcome.
The venerable 05E can still scare up nearly 60mph with the right mods, but you're right about parts becoming scarce. The same fate awaits the increasingly vintage 16s, but apparently more of them sold worldwide and thus more aftermarket companies make or made parts for them.

If you envision better performance, the Leo Vince SP-03 exhaust kit number 4447 fits your Vision, which is like our Aero model stateside. Also Peugeot apparently made or sold re-branded Hondas in the late '80s and some stuff labeled for Peugeot fits too.

Our own RedEft has scared up a batch of leftover Malossi big-bore (47mm = 65cc) kits that up the performance considerably, even with stock intake and Auspuff. The challenge is in gearing up to match the formidable Malossi Muscle. Malossi 16:32 primaries are still about in Europe and perhaps also from Eftie, but the painfully slow take-off of a 7.83:1 ratio almost takes all the fun out of the increased top speed capability. You'll have to craft some sort of adaptor to plug the crack in the wider case intake port to fit the custom intakes designed for the later AF16 engines. Totally worth it if you can put a 21 or 24mm carby on your Vision.

Spoon on a 90/90 rear tire if you can't hack the too-tall gears for a bit more top end than those 2.75 stockers. Honda Metropolitan (Scoopy) rims fit as-is astern, and fit with the larger 95mm Met-In or Dio front brake panel - also bolt-on - up front. Trust me, you're gonna need the bigger brakeage if you mod this thing to go much faster than 50.

Does anyone know if these fit or not? Mine has a angled exhaust outlet. And a two bolt manifold. Thanks

Greetings:

The caption says the pic may not look like the item. Honda made scooters for Peugeot - and sold under that brand in the late '80s, but both the 05 and later 16 blocks were connected to those too.

I know for sure that RedEftPerformance recently carried the Malossi 47mm/65cc kit for your AF05. You don't have to wait for Euro shipping or customs nonsense with him. Ping Red and see if he still has them?

Check below links but take care. Honda had a lot of Vision variations, more than 85-93 Aero/Elite AF05's.

Airsal (but says pic may differ...)

IDK - given the thread title, not all airsal folks are following. I'd suggest to run a search on 'airsal' at this site and make your personal decision

Greetings:

I recall seeing only one or two posts in the past 5 years where someone had purchased and installed this cylinder kit. My recollection is that it's better than the alternatives from Taiwan, but a relatively low-output cylinder. It really is hard to beat the Italians for quality and reliability.
