I know old Daytona products were good, how much you pay for it? And where can we find it?

Daytona is a major Japanese brand, totally legit. I'm shocked anyone on here would doubt the brand in the first place. I've got Daytona, Chameleon Factory, Kitaco, Takegawa, Malossi and Polini components on my bikes. All solid IMHO.

That's simply not correct.

I do have Daytona intake manifolds, air filters, transmission gears, clutch assemblies, variators, cvt belts, CDI for my AF18E motor. In fact, they make two levels of CDIs for this model alone.

They still supply clutches, variators, gears, intake manifolds, CDI, cvt belts, and big bore kits for the Live Dio.

Daytona also makes rear shocks, side stands and engine extension kits for all three generations of JDM Dio bikes.

Malossi has some stuff for the AF18E motors, but it's no more of a player than Daytona. Poke around WeBike, you'll see.

Vast majority of Daytona parts never gave the performance for the price. Chameleon is great products, jasil rocks, kitaco not so much. There's a million brands of parts we simply do not have access to in the mainland US. I'd never pay 250 for a cdi, especially a Daytona. When I first started getting into kymco zx50s 10 years ago there was a lot of Daytona parts availible and I used some but never was I impressed. I've also heard from many people who have ran Daytona trans parts and were happy but same experience as me and not that impressed. The amount people spend on here for a mhr replica cylinder is nothing compared to the polini evolution cylinder I run on my piaggio. Just my 2c but know what you're getting into or run the risk of wasted time and money in the name of research. I know sanjuro has put his time in with a ton of parts. I always wondered if he lives in jpn or has before.

Go ahead and buy a progress racing cdi, they're not my cup of tea for any other bike I've used them on. That cdi won't work on our bikes with out an intermediary harness and knowledge of the super dios wiring. I know it's not that hard to make one but plug and play is key for a lot of people on here. Personally I've never had good experience with the progress racing (r) cdis for the mini bikes, pw80, kx60 or the crf50. Ive installed them on several customers bikes and I have them for my pw and kx but in the end I had better luck with the stock cdis and an 3-4 degree offset key. Interesting stuff. I feel the adjustable one would be better for my application if it works out.
I've got a couple pictures of my bikes with them on them but can't link from photobucket right now with the poor reception in the facility here in the Rocky Mountains. I've given them a try or two, so not dogging a product with out reason. A built pw80 got beat by a stock pw80 with no mods using the progress r on the mod pw80, and the kx wouldn't rev past 6k. Back to stock both were beast, using offset keys they're down right scary for starter bikes.
Is the one you're getting a progress r also?
