I'm looking for a cheap way to get a little more power out of my scoot. I can get this 65cc? 43mm kit shipped for $74, it is the only 43mm kit i can find for the af18e.

Seller claims i can use it with the stock 39mm head, does that make sense at all?

Thanks for all the input, lots of experts around here.

I already have an aftermarket variator and rollers from daywot, whos ebay site seems to be down now(not sure if temperary)

I'm looking for a cheap way of adding a Little more hill climbing power to my scooter, the stock carb is a keihan pb, guessing 14mm or 16mm.

I'm looking for a bore that will actually work with the stock carb and pipe.

I'm 240lb and my town is full of hills, boggs down to 40km/h on some of them on the 5km trip home, when i'd like it to hold 50km/h to keep up with traffic.

I don't want to spend a ton of $$ and i don't want the scooter to get any louder than it has to, i feel aftermarket pipe/carb/airfilter would make it way louder, and maybe i can get the performace i need just by putting a 65cc\72cc with larger jet in carb.

Is the only point of installing a big block to get more RPM? It should provide more power at same rpm right?

Some sellers tell me a 72cc kit can be used with stock carb and pipe, do most agree?

7500miles, I'm the 3rd owner, It is a 13 years old.

I have not done a compression test yet, I guess I should purchase that equipment. It goes really good on flat and up small hills, but we have some really steep hills, and i'm fat. Only really 6km commute most of the time. 6km of uphill or downhill.

hi el walto. get a 70cc BBK. you will be happy. up jet your carb. drill out your pipe if you have a washer blocking it. add some gears. that's it. you should see speed and powerfor the hills.

OK,
Bought a compression tester and a torque wrench.
In process of ordering a malossi 70cc kit.

I think I might need a new belt? I ordered one from daywot but it seemed very tight, entire drive train got insanely hot and it eventually snapped. Back to to the probably worn honda brand belt that came on the scooter for now, it seems to have some slack in it.

Finally got my Carb off.
Kehan PB. Appears to be about 16mm when i measure

75A main jet
35 small jet.

any suggestions on to what sizes jets to order for stock pipe\air box and 72cc kit?

Going to order 72cc kit soon, unless someone tells me it will blow up with this Carb.

OK, I've ordered ALL THE THINGS. If i could get some suggestions to these questions, that would be awesome.

Stock Carb, Malossi 72cc Kit, Stock Pipe

a) What Jet? Jet in the carb is only a 75A. I've heard 88Jet is likely what I'll end up with. What jet should i start with? I have #78, #80, #82, #85, #88, #90, #92, #95, #98, #100 to choose from.

b) What Plug? For a 72c kit, should i use a spark plug with a higher number? Stock plug is a BR4, BR6, or BR8, Should i go with BR8 plugs?

c) How much oil? I'm going to leave my stock oil pump hooked up, how much oil to add to the gas? How much oil should i add for the first tank?

d) Break In? Should i really let it idle heat cycle a bunch of times before taking it out?

e)Gas, What Octane Gas is needed for a 72cc?
