Lightened stock flywheel

Has anyone done this yet? Im sending off a couple Yamaha Blaster and Banshee flywheels to http://www.kenoconnorracing.com/ and sending a few other flywheels to see what he can do or thinks.
Im sending flywheels to be lightened for a Mina zuma, 90cc 1pe50qmf, aprilia sr50 ditech, AF16e, Piaggio Hiper2, Kaw KLR250, Kaw KX65, Yam Yz80, 2 Yam blaster, 2 Yam banshee, and a Chinese 139qmb.
I have to find out what pricing he can give me on them before I send them all off. For the Banshee and Blaster its 60$ each so I would assume near or around that to lighten and balance them as well. Im sending him a pretty big project so maybe I will get a good deal. Well see how it goes performance wise also in the end. Ill hopefully know by tomorrow how much its going to cost.

There was also a guy in Hawaii on craigslist that had them for sale for $80 with a core.
It does not mention balancing, but boasts about the acceleration/speed you will gain.
Thanks for your post lmh, will watch for your info and thanks for always trying to help us noob's. :urban:

If Ken can do them for 60$ + shipping it will probably come out to 80$ or near.
No prob on the info, I hope it works out. Im sending this guy a couple cylinders and heads for a blaster and going to have him do some aggressive porting and head reshaping. Hes actually a good price for port work. I get tired of spending 10-15 hours porting a cylinder when I got 20 other things to do. If they come back in great shape and hes up for some other stuff Im going to have him do some Banshee cylinders and cases if I can get a spare set.

Its a proven fact that lighter weight on both ends of a crank will give you more performance, just installed a pg billet aluminum front face and now need to oofset it with a milled stator, contacted that local on craigslist, he wants to install the stator which is a big "no" for me, i would rather ship out my stator to a pro and pay more rather then a stranger wanting to steal my scoot.

the pictures are from the ad

I have read god and bad things on lightning flywheel
t have read some people have had them come apart on high rpm applications
(you probally should Magna Chek for stress cracks)
there are also people who say they gained hp
every mod you do has pros and cons
in the end it is all about what you want out of your machine acceleration reliability top end ect
to what mods you do

we have done this for drag racing.

It helps the scooter rev quicker. Top rpms stay about the same.

Not sure it would help for a daily driver.
