i kno ppl have used rtv selant for putting the cases back together i just now noticed it is silicon rtv i have

well i talked with afew ppl and they say its all pretty much the same thing just b cautious what kinda solvents come into contact with it so i guess ima cross my fingers and hope i get a good seal

For the $15 or so you'd spend at Honda-san's why would you risk a poor seal, an air leak, and fried bore and/or crank? Honda-Bond - or Yama-Bond if there's no dealer handy. Surely this can be purchased online too. Get the Right Stuff, dude.

yes you are prolly right seein as im kinda broke now that is not a option atm. i did get a secussefull seal i guess ill check it perodically cause of the concern. i should be working again soon and considering a mini stroke set up that would b a good time to change it thank you for the feedback
