Weird Idle problem

Ok so I got my spree back up and running after installing the new belt. It ran fine last night and today it seems to have lost about 3mph. I did no changes to the spree except add new gas and the only difference is that it is a little colder today. I did have two caps of seafoam in the first tank of gas. Would that make it run faster?

Anyways my main question is that my spree will start fine with a normal idle but after riding it for 10minutes or so, when I come to a stop the back wheel won't stop spinning (spinning at approx. 5mph). If i turn off the engine and then start it right back up, the back tire is not spinning and the idle seems normal. Does this sound like an idle problem to you? Would it have anything to do with my decreased speed? Thanks for you help.

That small amount of seafoam shouldn't make the scooter act different. Seafoam bogs the engine down, if anything, but that's a very small amount you put in. My thoughts are, that the colder weather is affecting your jetting. The engine doesn't get as warm as it did on warmer days. I once read that people with 2 stroke dirt bikes find them not running as well in fall, in the year that they bought it. They usually jet it leaner. Bad idea. Engines seize that way. Probably jetting issues, with the weather.

I personally get a speed improvment when adding seafoam to every tank. I usually do a minimum of 3 cap fulls. If you need to flush that sucker out, and the bike runs at all (even able to just idle), dump that whole can in!

You are prob. on the edge of your idle air and main jet. Turn your idle down just a hair or adjust the idle air screw after a good long ride.

I will try readjusting the idle again and see if that does it.
