Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Was wondering what the guys with modded sprees were getting for top MPH. I have read guys saying they cant be made that fast but I clocked mine next to my buddy on his bike and a GPS at 51 MPH. I have the bbk, Ported, gears, 21mm carb, I machined the head to match bore and rechambered now (180) psi with the thicker custom head gasket I had made. and runnng on VP114 race fuel. Right at 51 I got head shake and almost wrecked it. It's quite sketchy.

I had similar speeds with a similar build. It took a decline to reach over 50 but would easily do 45 mph through town. I fabbed a polini 50cc dirt bike expansion chamber on mine.

That is pretty fast for a spree. Should make a video for us to c.

I am gonna see if I can get ahold of him, I dont really want to sound like maddog on here talking smack with no proof. Especially over a spree build.

Update:

GOt ahold of the dude I sold my old spree to he said it still rips. He is going to meet up with me so I can make a quick video. We will see once and for all how fast this little guy goes. Hopefully the compression is still 165psi or 170.

Taz, i'm running your carb and bbk. Do you happen to sell the bbk piston and rings or is it only a kit? I want to have a spare on hand. I like the looks of that pipe better than my MLM.

Yeah, it sounds pretty rad. It is louder in person than the video leads on. Watching it drive by reminds me of bolt on modded imports at a drag strip, loud and slow.
