Greetings:
No specific info on the SB, but the PA series carbs all seem to have a 14mm throat. Even a 17.5 is a significant increase in fuel flow potential.

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.

Thank you, That is what I was looking for. I am looking to put a BBK for more bottom end on my kids scoot, not looking for top end just more pick up to get up and go so a big carb 21mm and up isnt worth it to me.

You can still run the stock carb on a BBK as long as you drill the main jet bigger at least .035 or slightly bigger but this would be a good starting range.

I dilled out the jet it was a 68 and the drill bit I used was smaller then an 88 that I tested it in. It 4 strokes a little up top but but got better when I pulled the 90 degree baffle out of the air box. I think if I got a little more air flow before tje carb it would balance out or a BBK.

Glad this worked out. You know you can buy tiny bits for cheap at HF. While you're there, get one of their $10 digital calipers so you'll know the exact(?) size of the hole in the jet.

I was using the H/F bits i used the 3rd smallest one. It was a lose fit in an 88 jet that I have for my Hobbit moped.

Greetings:
PA carb jet sizes are conveniently in millimeters x 100. Yours sounds like it might be an 85 as you describe it. The caliper would tell you exactly.

On the aero 80 a 90 jet is a #65 drill so that is sounding right to me with the #68
