I know this is a pole but "selling it to deuce217 for 150.00 with free shipping" was not up there.

Greetings:

And yet you included Spree and Elite among your Poll options. You have no choice now. It's the Democratic way!

Elites look more sexy, throw it on a 88 with black with pink trim.

Put it on the elite frame.
The spree frame will flex too much with the power. :imo:

Carbing a ditech isn't just as easy as removing the efi. The cdi is the ecu. You have go to a cdi and wiring it in, block off tons of fun, then hope your tune is correct because they like to burn pistons up with a quickness.
The engine is worth around 4-800 depending on compression of the kit. That's just the engine itself. No clutch, variator, tps, tb, etc. I'd just sell the engine off and buy a carbed Morini if that's the route you want to go. You'll be spending over 1000$ in time and money on the conversion, or buy a carbed Morini for 4-600$. You can sell the fuel pump for 40$ ecu 75$ air pump 40$ tb 50-75$ injector 50$ harness 30$, clutch set up 75$ etc.

You can get 100+ for both wheels even. The vast majority of carb conversions don't last long from all I've seen and read. Personally I think you have to change the cylinder and piston, and head of course. There's an extreme difference between the two in all 3 ways. Same crank and cases tho.

I like the water trap on that engine.
