Biggest front tire on Spree

My front tire is still the original from 1986 and the sidewall is dry rotted. I plan on switching it out and want to go bigger, but I'm unsure on how big I can go with the factory forks. Can anyone help me out?

I believe 2.75x10 is what you will want. I have them on the front and rear of my 85 spree. They don't rub at all and fit the stock 1.5x10 wheels with tubes just fine.
As far as the BIGGEST tire that can fit on the FRONT of a stock spree front end goes, I'm not actually sure.
3x10 might be too big for the 1.5x10 wheel...

I have a 2.75-10 on the front of be of my sprees as well made it handle way better. I think a 3-10 tire may fit up front. I have one and a spare spree wheel I may try it out if I have the time.

2.75x10 sounds about what I was thinking. Thanks, guys!
