Bigger gas tank for spree mod, work in progress

Hi forum.
I will be installing a bigger gas tank on a spree fame. modifications required.
I'm going from 2.5 L to 3.7 L. I can make this gas tank work.
I'm not using the oil tank and I'm not using the side covers so its easy for me.
if you want to try it you will need to premix. I think the gears stem pull off the spree pump?
also you have to shape and mold the tank to fit.
you will need 85-87 aero 50 1 gallon gas tank. and metal shaping hammer. a ball peen hammer may work. then go to town on the tank shaping it to fit. drill new holes add new bolts. add your seat. Good luck

don't forget you have to remove your oil tank & premix

make sure you remove your fuel sender before you start banging on the tank.
you will need about half inch of space, on the back side of the tank for the battery clarence.
order a new on and off petcock from eBay. In line type. add a nipple to tank. that will give you clearance by the shock.

spree tank 2.5L, aero tank 3.7L or 1 gal.
The 83-84 aero gas tank is different and it's 3.2L tank. Only .7L bigger. a little over 1/2 a quart.
I did not check if 83-84 tank fits? but too small for me.
Add a premix bottle. A baby bottle works for me because the ounces marked on the side.
