another problem

well now my spree reacts to all throttle amounts just when i get to about 15 or 20 or so it boggs a little. but if i give it full throttle backwards really hard it will continue to go normal without sputtering. does any body know my problem. Thanks

try removing the muffler and air cleaner. also check for vacuum leaks.

umm... no... clean the carb maybe... idk what taking your muffler and air cleaner off will accomplish

The muffler and or air cleaner could be plugged. Removing it will determine that.

yeah... he def. didnt say that... shoulda followed it up with a, check to see if theyre plugged or something.. wouldnt want someone riding around w/o a muffler and air cleaner

On my 84 I solved that problem by plugging a hole someone cut in my air cleaner cover. You might check to see that the cover is on tight and not leaking. I believe in one of the ancient posts someone had to ducktape the cover onto the air cleaner to solve the same problem.

i just found out today that if i hold the left brake down just enought so the button is not pressed down it will not bog at all

then you might wanna check your ground connections

The wires that are screwed to the frame are ground wires. Find those, they will all be the same color. Remove the fastening screw, check that it and the connector are clean. If not, clean with sand paper, wire brush or chemicals and refasten tight. Trace the wires. Make sure all connections are clean and tight.

the only ground wire i can find is the one on i think its the cdi unit. but its fine. does anybody know any other ground connections. also if i unplug the headlight it works fine.

well i was messing around checking all the connections and now my headlight doesnt work at all any one have any ideas?

Check the juction block behind the headlight and make sure all the connectors are pluged in tight.
