What motor should I use.

I have a few Sprees sitting around waiting to be resurrected. I also have a pile of different motors looking for homes. I'm kind of leaning towards the Ruckus motor.
What do you guys think?

How fast do you wanna go? And how much cash do you want to drop into it?

I'm sure I have the majority of the parts laying around so build cost is probably going to be under $100 no matter what motor is chosen. Don't care much about speed, this one's just straight up for fun.

Greetings:
Unless you're willing to swap to Met or disc front brake setup, the Spree wouldn't be my Chassis of Choice for mindbending AF18 or Minarelli power. The AF05 is cheap, available and usefully fast around town without the red-hot glowing hub after a quick stop.

Easiest way to not go fast is don't pin the throttle. In my opinion too much power is better than not enough. You want to be able to accelerate out of the way of danger. Nothing like pinning it and not much change in power.

Hi phatkix it's simple sell the Af18 to fund the Af05 build.

but personally I would use the AF 18 I would never want to be without power.too many idiots on the road.

Speaking of a GET lol ^. I would prolly choose the af05 or af18. Bbk and variator that bad boy and have your self a wheelie machine.
