Trouble With Mopedman Please Help!

I don't usually do stuff like this, but I just felt that everyone should know about my dealings with, and the conduct of one of your members.Awhile back I bought some parts off from mopedman. He sent them to me in good faith. They ended up not being the right parts,ETC.So I sent them back for a refund.I waited for awhile, then I got an E-Mail from him saying that he needed to pay off a speeding ticket, and would be sending me my money when he got it.So I was nice enough to let it slide until he had the money. Now I find out through one of your members help(Thank You!) that he is now saying that I kept some of the parts, and didn't send everything back!I told him that I sent everything back to him that he sent to me including the box he sent them in with no packing material. Why did he offer me a refund before if I didn't send everything back?I'm not asking for much, just my $35 back that I paid him.Sorry for the very long letter.Thank You all very much!

wow u guys are being really * about this whole thing. now lets think about this umm if someone orders something and tell the person that is buying what they want and gets it to there house and then descides that they dont want the other parts anymore and sends them back to the shipper and wants a refund i dont think that i would do that either. NO RETURNS on stuff like that.

No it hasn't been resolved yet.I sent the parts back because the one of the parts wasn't the right one,and another one was all spray painted,so I just sent the WHOLE thing back to him.He told me that he WOULD refund my money after he paid for his speeding ticket.Should I have asked him to pay me first, then his ticket while he was in jail?I'm not asking for much, just my $35 back.Is that too much trouble?Wouldn't all of you want your money back too?Thank You very much!

well then it appears there was a misunderstanding of what parts he was supposed to be getting. if such happens, their unspoken contract is void and its his right (70JUDGE) to return the parts he got if they are either not as described or defective to that origionally stated. watching some daytime court tv will tell ya that.

Aww, how sweet. Sounds like "Sam" needs his little * beat and refund Tyler's money or send him the correct parts. If it were me, he would have X amount of time to comply or be facing charges of mail fraud.

Just because someone falls on his face does not relieve a person of his responsibilities. In the end the only thing that matters is your word. A person who keeps his word very seldom gets into trouble and has lots of friends to help him out. The problem here is this list becomes like family and it hurts when one is betrayed by family. The $35.00 does not mean much. Thats only a couple of mowed lawns, or a few hours sweeping sidewalks in front of businesses. There is no defense for promising to pay and not doing it. We thought mopedman was developing a scooter parts business and want to support him in that. But missrepresentation con not be tollerated and a customer should not be left without his money or his parts. And worse mopedman has created a situation in which we can not trust him.
