gears 7.4 or 7.9 on dd50

Hey guys I am torn on what gears to purchase? Right now I have 6.8 and thats how I got the bike and hate cause off the line sucks donkey balls lol... anyways what is the difference in speed on the 7.4 and 7.9 and the benefits of it and the top speed difference.. I know guys tell me to run 7.4 do to my weight which I weigh about 230 lbs... so 6.8 is not what I want...

What engine mods?
If it's 50cc, you'll need a really strong tailwind or a hill to see a higher top speed with anything taller than 9:1.
High-revving Corsas and similar builds need no taller than 7.97 to reach their best speeds. (I know the primaries in the DD are different from Dio)
Ministrokers and strokers can run taller gears than that, but it takes a full-on stroker to need 6.8s. No wonder it sucks if it's 72.

How fast can 7.9 gearing top end be? It's a corsa mini stroked by the way... I'm just really torn on people's choices here in hi everyone wants all speed but I want all around if that makes sense..

I have 7.5 secondary and also minstroke corsa..takeoff is alot better than when i had 6.8's, and i hit 75 with the 7.5's, good luck

yeah I put 7.4 with 1500 contra spring and 3000 clutch springs and it flies.... I may even think I need to put heavier weights in to have a faster top end...
