Does anyone know if this will fit the aftermarket AF16 manifolds?

It fits the ct chrome manifold.

Thats one part that I personally feel is WAY overpriced and will not be putting on my scooter.

Greetings:

The block fits imperfectly but the issue is easily rectified with a rat-tail file: The holes in the CT and/or the reed block need to be ovalized a bit because the centers are about 1mm off with respect to the crankcase.

That done, the performance gains in my case were um... Underwhelming. Frankly I can't tell the difference at all. I have NOT put in the time I usually do to optimize my carb jetting however, so your mileage may vary.

Agreed. I'd say a $30 set of boyesen reeds in the CT cage is a much better way to go.

It fits the CT manifold if you file a small lip off the edge and a little hole enlargement.
Read the reviews, the CT cage is said to crack by more than one person , I have no reason to gamble with a crack when the Vforce is only a few bucks more.

Right on John, I happen to score a very nice CT manifold with Naraku cage. While the CT cage may be junk, there are more than just "a few" dollars between some cages and the V-Force. There are options, none that I have looked for, but the going rate for a v-force block is ~$135. That's wayyyyyyy too much money.

Dynographs will prove that a Malossi VL13/14 block with the 2 large petals(not even fancy dual stage)and the polini or stage6 v-force 3 which are a tassarini copy have very minimal difference in performance. That's very little on a dyno, the butt graph that most of us use will never feel the difference. If you've got all sorts of money to blow, the vforce is a great choice, especially for the dio, cause there aren't a ton of options like there are for Minarelli/Piaggio.

A few bucks more? You could buy 5 entire CT manifolds let alone reed cages for the price for a v force reed block. Ct mani $30 at most, v force cage $150. And the cage goes in the ct mani so have to buy that too. I've never had one crack but I've only had 2.

Nh125 custom made lower, CT upper and V force 3 cage.
While this is not the AF16, it does show how the V Force 3 fits the CT manifold.

Does Boysen offer reeds that will work? Can you purchase KX65 reeds and expect them to fit the other cage? I'd that is the case, they seem to offer everything from standard reeds to pro series dual stage, to the Radvalve. Those carbon dual stage pro series look pretty killer!

We speak of the CT manifolds, however I actually have the Naraku manifold which I *think* is identical to the CT manifold as far as the reeds go, or actual dimensions.

Here in my MINISTROKER build LMH told me about the boyesen reeds and there is a link to the ones the fit. Also the reed stoppers that are known to break off on ct cage are removed when you install the boyesen reeds.

Thanks. So I'm looking at the Pro Series Pro-139 for KX65. This has the carbon top reeds and glass bottom reeds to use on my Naraku. Either that for spend another ~$30 more for the Stage6 cage. Decisions, decisions lol
