is there a way to make the gas cap let more air into the gas tank? my mina engine sucks the lines dry when going wot. petcock is gone, replaced with hose.

Puncture it or find a different cap that fits with bigger vent holes. I've had the same problem with my 89 lx build. Took off the cap when riding and it's fine. So I took a chisel and punctured it one time and haven't had an issue since minus fuel leaking when it's full.

Another option is to use a reservoir in between the tank and carb.
