1986 Spree - BBK - Oil Mix/Pump Question

I have an '86 Spree with a BBK. I was wondering if anyone has (or if its even possible) to swap out a larger oil pump so I would not have to premix? Would a SB50 pump fit (the gears) and possibly work? Just curious. Thanks alot.

The SB and the NQ share a lot of common parts, and quite possibly the pump will fit and work. However there's no evident I know of that it puts out any more oil than the Spree's pump. Both low-revving 49ccs. A quantitative test using a power drill for a fixed amount of time could determine the respective flow rates.

I would just premix it and be done with it. there is no real way to know there is not enough oil from a pump until you seize the motor. I cant see where a pump for a similar 50cc motor will pump more or enough oil for a near 70cc kit. Premix is your best bet as much as it can be a little inconvenient. Good idea about trying the other pump though
