Is it like a malossi torsion controller or the motorio ball bearing controller?

It's neither, it actually goes on top of the spring between the clutch and spring instead of under between the spring and pulley. Even if the kid has one he wouldn't know how to use it or why he's using it. There's not a lot of people who annoy me on this site but this guy's the biggest loser and tool.

There's ones that go under the spring, then there's savers which go on top. Some bikes come with them stock. Not a big whoopty do.

There are spring savers and torsion controls, and then there are radial ball bearing supports. Spring savers are inserts that just keep the spring from pedastalling the clutch and centers the spring so it slides easier, torsion control is like an absorber that also makes the spring tighter. Radial bearing supports help it make more noise is all I've seen them do and also gives less room for the spring to variate. Kymco uses them. I remove them.

That's just my understanding of them. If someone has a more professional answer I'm all ears for sure.

I have said yellow controller unopened and ready to install. Ive used them before, but have never had a problem with a binding spring. Ill put it in for smoother placebo shifting effect.
The more important part is the pin guides in the torque driver.

It eliminates metal to metal friction. That has to be better. Ive not felt any dif using them, but it would add preload to the spring. I dont see it restricting pulley movement, but if it prevents the rear pulley from opening or closing all the way that would hinder performance.

oh I see, I did not use mine, because I thought it created more grip to keep the pulley engage longer. for like a better take off at the track?
I learn something new everyday. thanks dirty :peace:

I've been running one for a while now and can't if it's helping or not as I'm still having issues getting it dialed in. I should pull it to see what condition it's in.
